Pitch & Swift are two separate artworks by artist Shirazeh Houshiary, following the same model. The project started with Pitch in 2015 when a 3D model of the desired artwork was sent to the Factum Arte warehouse by Shirazeh´s Studio. A team, led by Voula Natsi Paraskevi, opted to 3D print the artwork in resin and, for practical reasons, in a number for different segments which were later sent to a foundry where the parts were moulded and cast in aluminium. When cast, the different parts were assembled and melded together, also in aluminium, and finished by hand. The work was then painted in colours chosen by the artist, by Factum Arte´s Amancio Serrano.

The same cast shell was used for Swift, forming two casi-identical artworks.
