Factum Arte collaborated with Rachid Koraichi in the production of a series of new works for the exhibition Il n'est d'autres souverains que ceux qui me regardent, which opened its doors to the public on the 16th November 2015 at the Elmarsa Gallery in Dubai. Koraichi's installation entitled Les Prieurs, features three sculptures (H. 280 x L.130 x W.7 cm) in polished bronze with green patina. Each of these sculptures originated from Koraichi’s drawings and were initially reformatted as a 3D file before being printed in Styrofoam by Modelporex.
Each of the three figures are unique works intended to represent monotheistic religions. Through this work, Rachid Koraichi looks to compare and contrast Judaism, Christianity and Islam with the lack of hierarchy encountered in Sufism, a religion which has acted as a great inspiration for the artist throughout his entire life.
