Paula Crown's new series HEALING NATURE is centred on mark-making and human movements in space and through time, inspired by her own healing experience with the outdoors of Aspen during the pandemic. Factum Arte recorded the colourful shapes and topographies of the original Aspen Map paintings by Crown, and the subtle relief of the surface was 3D printed using elevated printing. After moulding and casting the surface in a custom gesso mix, applied onto linen canvas, the base colour was printed using Factum's inkjet flatbed printer. 

The intense colours of some areas required an additional layer of paint, applied by hand in Factum's studios in Madrid.
