Whilst Fuss’s body of work has encompassed a wide-range of photographic mediums, it is his self-professed love of photographic printmaking that brought the artist to Factum. This video profile displays the fruits of this collaboration: multiple unique multi-layered pigment prints of compressed flowers on gesso coated aluminum. Shown on stand at Paris Photo 2018, the crushed petals appeared to leave the surface of the gesso and seemingly gain volume, displaying the innovative results of high-resolution scanning as well as multi-layered printing. The final versions can also be seen below.
