At Factum Arte we have established a unique print studio that builds a bridge between traditional printing methods and the possibilities for plate making with CNC machining. The new manifestations of techniques such as mezzotint, intaglio and woodburytype allow artists to work with scan and photography data but for these to have rich material qualities in its printed state. Etching and aquatint facilities are complementing this and leading to new synergies between digital and analogue mark making.
