The series Perforations is a project based on drawings Paula Crown made in a helicopter flying over a rough landscape in South Africa. The artist took scanned 3D images of the ragged edge of the “helicopter drawings” as they were torn from a sketch book, and then turned them into physical sculptures. The sculptures have been produced with different techniques and various materials.
