The work is the impact of the artist's fist as he punched a block of clay. While it was still fresh and wet, the clay was cast in plaster creating a positive of the impression complete with all the details of the fist, the skin and the movement as it penetrated the block. This was then produced in both positive and negative. The negative is usually shown embedded into a wall.

Published by Caja Negra in an edition of 10. Each edition contains both the positive and the negative in a gesso covered box with the title of the piece printed on the top. Signed and numbered by the artist on the bottom of the box.
