Shezad Dawood


Born in 1974, Shezad Dawood is a London based artist and film-maker, who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2000. His practice addresses the complexity of human identity by creating works that layer narratives and characters into suggestive environments. The artist critically examines the nature of identity and meaning by merging the representation of various ideas and physical realities into one. His multimedia works draw on his rich personal background mixing Pakistani and Indian influences.
