New production for Leonor Serrano Rivas: Rythm Patterns
Unveiled at carlier | gebauer gallery during ARCO (6 - 10 March 2024), the first piece of Leonor Serrano Rivas' new series of tapestries was developed in collaboration with Factum Arte and Vives i Mari. It consists of five textile panels forming a single unit, and both the front and the back were considered during the production. More on the project
Union of Artists installed in Dubai
Following the collective concept proposed by the five artists shortlisted for Art Dubai 2023 (Afra Al Dhaheri, Shaikha Al Mazrou, Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, Asma Belhamar and Khalid Albanna), the large-scale installation Union of Artists was created at Factum Arte's studios in Madrid and revealed to the public in Dubai on February 26th, 2024. New work for Shezad Dawood
Factum Arte recently collaborated with Shezad Dawood to create and install his latest sculpture Coral Alchemy (Acropora Grove). As part of Manar Abu Dhabi, a Public Art initiative, Shezad Dawood was commissioned to the large installation for Abu Dhabi's Corniche Road - on display until 30th January 2024.

New production for Marina AbramoviĆ on display in London
'Marina Abramović' at the Royal Academy of Arts in London featured many of Abramović's material works, which have been created with Factum Arte since 2013. New editions were conceived and produced between 2020 and 2023 in collaboration with Abramović and her studio for the Royal Academy exhibition.

'Smash Hits' at the Royal Scottish Academy
Grayson Perry's largest ever show ‘Smash Hits’ was open until November 12th, 2023 at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh. It covered Perry’s 40-year career and throughout the exhibition a number of his intricate tapestries were on display - many of which were made in collaboration with Factum Arte.

Jan Hendrix at Casa de México, Madrid
Since 2018, Factum Arte has supported Jan Hendrix with the development and coordination of the production of a series of seven tapestries depicting the mythological landscape of Yagul. The series was on display at the Casa de México, Madrid from June 7th until September 10th 2023, as part of the exhibition 'El poeta y el artista. Seamus Heaney y Jan Hendrix en Yagul'.

New works for Tschabalala Self
Factum Arte produced a new edition of Seated Man and Seated Woman for Tschabalala Self's solo exhibition at Galerie Eva Presenhuber in Zurich ('Spaces and Places', June 9 - July 22, 2023). The two bronze sculptures were 3D modelled at Factum Arte and cast at Kaparos Foundry in Greece.

Bronze Dippy replica in production
Factum Arte in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in London is excited to announce we are creating a weatherproof, bronze replica of the iconic Dippy. We are delighted to share how this new replica will look in the completed gardens. As part of the museum’s Urban Nature Project, the replica will be installed in early 2024 outside the new and refurbished museum gardens.

Seated by Tschabalala Self at De La War Pavillion
After its installation at Coal Drops Yard in 2022, Seated by Tschabalala Self is now on display at De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill on Sea until October 29th, with the kind support of Pilar Corrias Gallery, London. The 2,40m-tall bronze sculpture was commissioned by Avant Arte and produced by Factum Arte.
Production for Marguerite Humeau
Artist Marguerite Humeau spent several months of creative work with the team at Factum Arte to produce the eleven sculptures that formed part of her solo exhibition ‘meys’ at White Cube Bermondsey (April 5 – May 14, 2023). Humeau’s vision pushed both human skill and material limitations, using mostly natural beeswax as well as microcrystalline wax, pigments, and ashes to find and refine the physical form of each piece.
