Banquet is a tabletop display of two portfolios of prints - one entitled Arousa Baladi and the other Larabesque. The viewer, supplied with white museum gloves is invited to leaf through the images entering Lara Baladi's private archive, Arousa Baladi consists of 10 prints of details of women, clothing, skin and decoration. Larabesque consists of ten images of the artists feet.
Each portfolio is housed in an elaborate solander box specially designed to reflect the images contained inside.
All the prints are printed onto Somerste paper in pigment ink and measure 60 x 80 cms
